A Foot Health Practitioner attends to routine foot care and common conditions that affect the feet, including;
- Nail Cutting
- Corns and Callus
- Thickened Nails
- Fungal Nail Infections
- Fungal Skin Infections
- Cracked Heels
- Ingrowing Toenails (non-surgical)
They are qualified and insured to treat diabetic patients and those taking blood thinning medications (including but not limited to Warfarin, Apixaban, Rivaroxaban, Aspirin).
They are also trained to recognise and advise on a wide variety of foot and leg conditions, treat appropriately and make referrals when necessary.
